Chinese New Year Afterthoughts

The Fengshui Master had said that this Dog year is a bad year for those born in the year of dragons. Bad for career switch, bad for love life, bad for gambling or "investment".
Well, they also said that the last New Year, the dragons would enjoy a state of great prosperity.

Heck these, I said..
My whole of last year was in a shambles...bad luck in "investments", extremely unluck in 4D and toto, all misses in EPL bettings, plus a definite luckless games in Mahjong....
Well, this New Year kicks start another round of celebrations, with the gung ho Cheena lion dance, a bit of drinks, many cash exchanges on the makeshit tables for "Ban Luck", plus the all time favourite Mahjong.
Well, true enough to repel all the sayings, I'm quite lucky.. Hit all for Mahjongs.. No loss...
So where the "suayness" the Great Fengshui Master said???
I'm going on a bang, so it's definitely the year to look for a new change of job, a new relationship..
Anyway, the New Year is full of surprises.
For one, I made a great steamboat dinner for Gary, Ben and his wife Lynellte.
Well, interestingly, Ben had a craving for steamboat as he had missed his reunion dinner (poor fellow-got posted to a trade fair in Germany) and Lynellte managed to hit back from KL just in time for my pepper butter prawns.

Well, I got a rave review for the excellent prawns and the great soup!
This has finally made my day..
The last time I made any food was exactly a year back, where my top shell Thai salads has the ladies asking me for the recipes.

Cheers to a great new year ahead..
