Surreal. That’s my feeling right now. There is so much to say yet so little to comment. I felt like a whale in an ocean, no matter how big I am compared to all other marine life, I’m still a tiny speck in the ocean. I wish I can elaborate much further but I couldn’t. Life at this moment looks so clear yet so “blurish.”.

Superband afterthoughts
19 June 2006, today I finally managed to catch a glimpse of the Singapore Superband on TV. I must first clarify that I’m not a fan of these kind of Super shows, like Super Idol, Super these, Super that. I find it pointless and senseless to watch as it has no direct correlation with my life.
However, I was quite keen to watch Superband simply because I knew one of the wannabe participants. He belongs to the Brods team, consisting of him and his younger brother. Yup, a man approaching 30 going head on with the eighteen, nineteen year olds, singing the song “I’m not crazy”.(actually I think he is crazy to enter to this singing competition) Kudos for his bravery and I must give due credit to him. His singing was quite impressive. (reminds me of his hey days in the secondary school, where he won virtually every year Chinese Xinyao singing competition)
One positive aspect of this show was that it reminds me of this band called “The Cranberries” particularly the song Zombie. Why, you may asked, my answer may just be as crazy and simply quite “bo liao” as it reminds me of this particular girl from this particular Filipino band based in Hangzhou who gave a wonderful rendition of the song. So Wee, if you still remember the band name and their website, just drop a message into my C box.

Mac & Sleeze Part 2
Following some interest from one of my readers, I decided to complete the whole saga of the Mac & Sleeze. I even show you the phone number of the Massage Parlour as a gesture of my goodwill. So, I guess some of you guys could probably corelate this to a certain Korean Show. Wonder whether this attracts Aunties too?
Exhibit A- Balestier "Beauty & Health Center"
What you may find in exhibit A, well, not very Chang Jin.
Me, World Cup and the Singapore Pools
Life has been pretty taxing these two weeks. Besides juggling with work and the daily mundane stuffs, there is now the World Cup. Watching the World Cup requires a lot of stamina, especially so if there is a time difference. You forgo your precious beauty sleep so that you can catch a glimpse of the actions. Many times, your anticipation and your enthusiasm for a particular match is often being let down by a “boring, time wasting” game, which leaves you with an afterthought, “What the %#%& did I waste my sleep over this!” Of course, as true Singapore footballers fan, I also try to visit the Government Pension Fund Department to do some investments. So far, I have been pretty luckless, given that whichever matches that I have bother to watch and laid a flutter turns out to be a dub and burnt a whole in my pocket! With the soccer fever still hot, I decided at present time to place another irrational bet on Ivory Coast beating the living daylights of Holland (which by a way, I’m quite a fan ) Bet with your sense and not your heart? Hmm, more likely due to the attractive odds. So in true spirit of the Singaporean Vast Pensioners, let the match begin and shout“ Ho Say Liao!”

Correlation with Mac & Sleaze
Duh…………..Something just not right when you have to associate the Big M American family fast food chain with 中国妹妹(s) (a description used often by Cyclops). Yup, no doubt, I’m in Balestier Road, the new kid on the block for sleaze. However this is something just too much to bear. I’m not preaching here but hey maybe I’m just too conservative. A family restaurant serving Kids Happy Meal becomes the favourite hunt for Chinese “Massage” girls for their quick bites. Anybody who has studied 好公民 in primary schools could have sense the disparities in that picture. (That’s why there is no Mac Donald in Geylang-if you would have noticed! Mac and Sex don’t match!) What more horrific is that they actually come fully geared, tagged along with their tools of trade. Hey come on, if I’m a parent with kids, how am I suppose to answer when my kid ask, “爸爸/妈妈,为所么姐姐的红色小可爱跑了出来!” Err, am I suppose to answer, that they are providing medical care called traditional acupuncture? I must admit that I’m no Saint either. I mean if you are a 20 something chap caught in the situation where skimpy dressed, fair, voluptuous sex kittens are parading in front of you as if they are doing the cat walk, what would you do? Of course, you see lah! Free show leh!
Anyway, within a hundred meters, there are at least 6 massage Joint. Here are probably some of the more interesting ones. Next time, if you are in that area, look out for these joints cum their associates, Hotel 81s, Fragrance Hotels etc…You may just have an opportunity to attend a real life “好公民” on the spot lesson. Cheers!
%&^*&$!!! Again! Can't upload. What is hell is wrong with the editor! Only 1 pathetic photo. Too bad live with it lor!

X-MEN THE LAST STAND
Finally, after so many days, I got to catch a movie. Yes, it's $9.50 and there's no rebate. So who cares! Finally I get to watch. No more deliberation whether it's cheaper during weekday, or more expensive during night time.
This time round, I made up my mind and head to the cinema straight.
Alone but felt good. I saw a movie.
As the title suggested, I watched X-MEN 3. Great show? Prehaps it's the liberation that I felt or really that the show is really worth a 5 "Popcorns" ratings.
Anyway, do catch it on the big screen.
I particular like the headlines, "Whose side would you be on?"
Strangely the show really reflect a certain reality of the society. There is just no good or evil. It's how you view it.
Cheers!
PS: I want my Rouge, even she's just ordinary. Dun you agree, Cyclops?
